Get Indian food... Punjabi delicacies and even sweets. Nice place to have a casual lunch or dinner
MoreExcellent food, fair price. Takeout order prepared quickly, considering the restaurant was busy on a Saturday evening. Decent sized portions. Chili chicken was fantastic, but much spicier than any other item ordered, which was a little surprising. Docked one star because only one of the food containers was recyclable; too much single use styrofoam containers.
MoreThis place is so so good, it's always busy but it's worth the wait. We love to take a bunch of plates and share
MoreNever ever will go there again. Reasons: ripping off: 6 pakora 6$, do not serve water on time even when it's not busy. This place won't serve you any quantity, quality nor ambiance.
MoreWow it’s hard to support a place that leaves a band-aid in a samosa. I don’t know anything about food preparation, but you would think that staff with open cuts or lesions on their hands would not be allowed to put their hands in the samosas. Really you can get a box of rubber gloves at a pharmacy for a very small cost, for people with injuries. Whoever is in charge of this needs to pay greater attention to his staff, even if they are family or friends. I won’t share the photo of the bandage... but I really really want to! 😐I am really disappointed that this happened, I thought Palais D’Ajit was one of those true gems of Verdun, but I guess I was wrong.
MoreFantastic food but veeeeery slow delivery... nearly 2 hours when they said it would be 45 minutes. Yikes! I'll try going there in person instead.
MoreThe service is slower than your average fast food joint, but the food.... THE FOODThis meal was incredible and well worth the wait.It tasted like a home cooked meal should. I would tell you what I ordered but I’m confident it’s all good.Enjoy
MoreThis place is a hidden gem! I will only say that the food is absolutely delicious and for the cost vs value, it is absolutely one of the best in city. Be warned! Food does have a tendency to be spicy, but staff is accomodating and friendly. Absolutely Worth a detour..
MoreHad a variety of Indian dishes. Good selection. Food was better than what we found in the area . Service are enough for 2 people. Tend to be on the spicy side but is pretty good. Service was ok.
MoreOne word, excellent! The food is really good and tasty. Everything is home made by an Indian cook, so the flavours are really there. The restaurant is kind of a cantine style, always packed so to eat there you need to be patient because it take sometimes, but it’s really worth it or you can order for pick up.
MoreIndian food is always the best when it comes to sharing with your friends. This place is comforting, with a quick service and the meals are outstanding. It's also so cheap! I'd literally throw more money at them because they deserve it. Keep it up guys!
MoreExcellent food with fair pricing. I am a repeat customer since their opening, I have yet to be disappointed.
MoreOne of the best Indian restaurants, fast service, not too expensive, but above all, very delicious food! If you like butter chicken, they have one of the best I ever had outside of India.
MoreThe food is amazing! Service is great too!
Excellent food at reasonable prices. The tarka dahl and butter chicken are the best!
MoreThis is our second visit. It's always welcoming and friendly. It's one of the most authentic Indian places I've ever been to. Enjoy!
MoreTake out is really good.
Went for lunch. I had the Tali plate (lamb) and my wife had Chicken Tikka. The Samosas were cold in the middle...so not great. The meal was good, spicy but not too much. We felt the Nan bread didn’t have the fire pit smell/taste. All in all...it was good...but not Jean-Talon great.
MoreFirst time been there Awesome Food are absolutely yummyExcellent serviceGood price Good continuationTo all staffs
MoreButter chicken, garlic naan and vegetable samosas were delicious! I'll definitely be coming back to try more!
MoreFood was delicious, great portion size and unbeatable price. Will definitely be back for more
MoreLove this restaurant.. Food is awesome great price
Absolutely horrible service. I ordered food for my family (takeout) and was told 10 minutes. When I arrived 10 minutes later I was told 10 more minites. After 30 MORE minutes I asked for my money back and I would go elsewhere. The hostess slammed a plate down, barrelled into the kitchen and came out with some random food. I told her it wasn't wmy order and she started yelling 'who told you 10 minuted. I didnt tell you' the other hostess said she had and was yelled at by hostess 1. Finally 50 minutes after ordering I got my food with a 'here. It's busy. It takes the time it takes' the hostess slammed the food on the counter and walked away. The food is NOT WORTH the abuse and lack of care for their customers. Avoid at all costs
MoreDelicious food !! But the service was average, and the place reeked like pine sol cleaner, which is quite unpleasant while eating..
MoreWas enjoying a nice samosa when suddenly I felt something similar to plastic in my mouth. It was a bandaid! Seriously? How gross! WTF? People working in restaurants should always wear gloves, then incidents like this would not happen. I have filed a complaint with with the food inspection division of the city of Montreal. Get your acts together! NOW!!!!
MoreTerrible food (butter chicken was too sweet), bad service (they just don't care about their customers). I ordered to take away, everything spilled in the bag they gave me while I was paying attention... bad
MoreAs usual, Palais d'Ajit was delicious, fun, well-priced, and has great service!
Food is always on point. Acceptable service time and great bang for buck. The byob is always appreciated too! One of my favourite places to go for a bite in Verdun!
MorePunjabi vibes are assured here, rest I don't know
Very very tasty food i ate aloo prantha and yogurt and drunk lassi it was a really taste of india punjab It was so delecious and me my husband enjoyed alot Great dinning and service
MoreAmazing amazing amazing food...best Indian food in Montreal.
Very pleasant people. Family business.
Delicious! Consistently tasty and well seasoned.
Super taste, portions, and price. So happy that I found this place just a block away! They'll know me very well soon 😁 I'll be visiting often!
MoreThe best indian restaurant in MTLWhenever I go there, it’s absolutely perfect. It’s authentic, simple and tasty. The girls who works there are really nice and helpful if you have questions about the menu. The Naan bread is heavenly good. Take out is just as good as eating in the restaurant.
MoreBy far this is my favourite Indian restaurant in the city. The price and quality are second to none. I'm basic and I always get the butter chicken (I order it extra spicy), garlic naan and vegetable biryani. The service is fast and friendly, family owned and run.
MoreThey have awesome samosa. They are polite and kind, the food is good, the atmosphere cramped and dark. Could be romantic, forget what that's like.....ehhh, the food is good. Yah.
MoreGood food with proper portion sizes to satisfy ones hunger. Is a bit of a wait before being served, but in the end it is worth it.
MoreThe food is really excellent ! Genuine and super tasty indian cuisine .. the only bad thing in this restaurant is the decoration .. the interior space looks super cheap. Don't let appearances fool you though, the food is really amazing !
MoreDelicious food, well priced, friendly staff.
Very poor service, I was there with my friends and we called in before going. While we were having the food , the girl in yellow top came in saying that -"to hurry up " as the table is reserved for 20 people sitting together. This was an unacceptable behavior from her. We are not eating free of cost , we are paying the money and top of this we have called earlier before coming in.... *************AVOID this restaurant.....*************POOR RACIST SERVICE *** THEY NEED TO LEARN MANNERS of BEHAVING WITH THE CLIENTS*****
MoreThe prices are way higher than those appearing on the menu posted online. It took over an hour to arrive which can be understandable but combined with the boosted prices and the samosas missing from my order this is quite disappointing.
Moreit was a perfect food place for punjabi food
It is delicious just a bit slow for delivery. I liked everything we ordered from here./
MoreOne of the best vindaloo I have ever had . Great place to go off the beaten path.
MoreExcellent food and awesome people. My first time here and the place was packed. Service is quick and always with a smile. I will most certainly be going back.
MoreIf it's of any help, the spices at this place, being strong and tasty, are gentle with your stomach...
MoreBest Indian food I've had in a long time!! Well seasoned and flavourful! I had the lamb biryani with a side order of naan and an extra yogurt, it was delicious! My friend took samosas and butter chicken, also very good. The service was quick, the server was friendly, and very quick to refill water without having to be asked, the cost was very reasonable for the portions we had. I will definitely be returning, there is so much on the menu I still want to try!!
MoreAmazing authentic Indian food!Love their parantha's.Fish pakoda is delicious, as well.
MoreHonestly I’ve been to many Indian places, and this has been the best one by far. If you’re in Montreal and love Indian food, this place is an absolute must. I particularly recommend the Lamb Korma, but do have to add that the chicken tandoori is not the tastiest.
